Description
A little thing I made years ago.
Made to be worn over a 1895 dress, it can be adjusted with a bit of creativity for edwardian and late victorian pieces and, if you’re not going for 100% historical accuracy, also for 1850s and 60s.
You can see the original inspo in the museum pic, while the following are suggestions on how to use it for multiple outfits.
Materials
Satin overlaid with tulle in the same black. Boned with synthetic whalebone, back lacing on handmade eyelets. Waist tape on the inside and everything. Worn once or twice.
Requirements
Needs to be worn on top of a corset, and on top of a boned dress.
Measurements
Waist: 71,5cm (28 inches).
