This corset dress is not your usual fairy dress.
It was one of my quarantine projects, and therefore I experimented a lot and created lovely new effect for it. I love how the colors turned out, creating the effect of a moving watercolor illustration.
It features a proper corset, steel boned, in coutil. The outer layers are in silk. There’s a full double circle silk in ombré hand dyed silk organza, and the bodice is wrapped in silk brocade.
The top layer is hand painted tulle, kept in place by a vintage metallic trim (real metal, no lurex) bleached to get the weathered look and carefully sewn and polished to an organza base, for extra strength.
The look is completed by a silk organza hood, and tiny little flowers.
The dress is quite versatile as size: the skirt is extra long, the bust can easily host up to 107cm, the natural waist should be up to 85cm. The back lacing makes the garment quite adjustable.
Gloves, wig, wings, mask not included. E-mail to have yours custom made.
