When I was a small child, and people asked me what I wanted to be when growing up, I would not reply “ballerina”, nor for sure “costume designer”, “photographer” and not even “physiotherapist”. I replied I wanted to be a painter.

I was exposed to museums since very young, and the amazement at what some artists could represent seemed to me the greatest possible thing to devote my time to. There were skies that did not look like photographs of skies, but they made me feel like I was looking at the sky even better than photography. And it does help that I grew up in Italy, with the masters at hand even before the internet.

I did study arts in high school, as I went to one of those schools that were once born to bring to life professional artists and artisans, as direct evolution of the old ways of training. For some time I even thought I would have tried to be an illustrator for children books.

After diving into other art and craft forms, a couple of years ago, I decided to get back to giving visual and physical art, in the msot classical way, the space it deserves. Not just as a mere servant to other works, in form of sketches to clear my mind or communicate things to potential customers.

painting has become for me a way to ground myself and allow my ADHD to ease the beginning of the productive work. A few minutes a day make adapting to the request of the rest of the world so much easier. Keep my head in balance.

Therefore I do not take any kind of request. I need to keep this for myself.

I also use watercolor to experience things I see when travelling.

So, as you may guess, over the years I have accumulated a number of pieces. So many that I can not possibly expose and love them all as they would deserve, not in a common person’s home and studio.

This is why I have decided to make some of them available to the public.

They express the variety of my interests and how much my mind loves to experience different topics and subjects.

Giving one of them a loving home is a lovely way for you to support my work. By purchasing one of my paintings, you’re allowing me to purchase more painting supplies, to support other artisans and to keep a little business afloat.

I ship all of them with recycled packaging.
