 The dress

Since walking out of the cinema to see Cyrano (2021) I wanted to make one of the dresses like those designed by Massimo Cantini Parrini. He wanted his designs to look like moving watercolors, which was the goal with the flower française I made some years ago.

So I designed a dress that had the incandescent pinks of foggy winter mornings, and started gathering supplies. I wanted the dress to look like a fairy from Sleeping Beauty, something with a nice historical base. And I also wanted it to be magical and nature-related.

It will be made in hand dyed an painted fabrics, with lots of silk organza.

How it works

This one of a kind dress will include bodice, petticoat, and wig.

The PRICE RANGE is between 2200 and 2500 euros depending on the price of the materials I still have to source.

You need to already have a good pair of stays, a pair of paniers or false rumps and a petticoat. Though I accept commissions for this in all sizes, you need to have a pair of stays that shapes your body nicely and gives good contrast between hips, waist and bust, whatever your circumferences are. I will take the liberty to reject commissions requests with undergarments that do not fit the requirements of the dress.

EMAIL BEFORE PURCHASING: [email protected]

Please send me front, side, back and 3/3 images of your set of undergarments before placing the order.

I will require at least one mock-up and videocall fitting.

Crafting time depends on the current commissions list. If you have a deadline, please inquire BEFORE placing your order.

This will be a one of a kind dress which I will not replicate.
