Watercolour on grey paper, 21 × 15 cm (8.3 × 5.9 in)
A small watercolour study exploring the rendering of cut gemstones as they might appear in Belle Époque designs, after visiting the exhibit in Paris.
I then played with the watercolor concept, letting it drip with gravity besides the cage of the geometric shape. This was fun to paint!
These are all original, one-of-a-kind pieces, as usual. They are a lovely way to help me keep my art supplies box well fed.
