Description
A few weeks ago, in my oil painting exercise scouting, I came across this painting by Fragonard: A blonde woman with a garland of roses. And who am I not to try to replicate the lovely blush of her cheeks, the delicate color combination, the rococo use of prussian blue? But one more interesting thing, it sparked some… intention. For the orphan wig. So I styled it to mimic the painting. I added a ton of vintage fabric flowers, and painted the whole thing in shades of pink and pearl. I wanted to blur the flowers, give them the colors of bone-china ones in rococo mirror frames and chandeliers.
It is not a completely historical piece, but it does convey the rococo vibe more than some historical pieces.
I am basically ignoring all the painting work and the flowers, and it is offered for little more than the price of a regulare tete-de-mouton. It is not powdered, it is painted. Needs to be finished and cleaned up before shipping, but you get an idea.
Synthetic front lace wig, vintage flowers.
