Description

Cheeky maid outfit inspired by my favourite decade of the nineteenth century: 1890s. Ideal to give your eenactment group the extra touch to make everything look real.  You can wear it with the apron, or without, as a walkign dress.

It is a comfortable and versatile outfit, something you can even use on a daily basis.

This dress is very comfortable. These are some of the best cut sleeves I have ever drafted, you can easily reach the top of your head when it is fully closed.

The dress

I made this dress from high quality green worsted wool, with the skirt trimmed with two rows of black ribbed ribbon. The dress closes at the front with self fabric covered buttons to the knee. The apron features pintucks at the waist and broderie anglaise lace. I will not include the collar, nor the parasol or any other accessory: this listing is for dress and apron. Though you can see how, with some accessories, it can become a very interesting informal outfit for a walk!

This is a comfortable dress, made to be fairly practical. Though it does require a corset underneath, it is not boned.
